Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site, leadership oriented role in the centralised kitchen of the brand located in Gurugram for a Chef De Partie - Pastry. The Chef De Partie will manage daily kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation along with flawless execution of daily deliveries for orders received through various online channels. Responsibilities include assistance in developing, preparing and executing menu items, assisting in menu planning and cost control, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The Chef De Partie will ensure collaboration with the team to uphold the values of Soul Crumb and deliver an exceptional culinary experience to customers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in culinary techniques (Pastry) , food preparation, and understanding of pastry and bakery processes
  • Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and efficient kitchen operations
  • Leadership qualities, skilled in team collaboration and communication in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to maintain consistency in quality and presentation even during high-demand periods
  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or similar culinary role in a pastry kitchen setting
  • Certification in culinary arts or a related field is a plus
  • Passion for artisan baking and commitment to excellence in the culinary arts
