Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Murshidabad for a Chef De Partie. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for food preparation and presentation across assigned sections, ensuring culinary excellence at all times. Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create innovative menus. The role requires strong team leadership and a commitment to maintaining the hotel's high standards of cuisine and service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and recipe creation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented kitchen environment
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant is an advantage
