Role Overview

We are looking for a customer-facing Check Point Presales Engineer to support Tech Data's cybersecurity business in the Delhi NCR region. The role is highly presales-oriented, revenue-aligned, and focuses on solution designing, demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and partner enablement.

The candidate will act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for Check Point security solutions and will work closely with internal sales teams and channel partners to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Presales Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Check Point related opportunities in the assigned region
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solution architecture and design
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Support preparation of RFQs, BOQs, sizing, and technical solution documentation
• Collaborate closely with sales teams and channel partners to drive opportunities
• Provide technical guidance and enablement to partners
• Carry presales-linked targets based on deal influence and technical closures

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall concepts)
• Hands-on or presales experience with Check Point Firewall technologies
• Ability to understand customer requirements and propose effective solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong documentation and technical articulation abilities
• Customer-facing and consultative approach

Certifications (Good to Have)

• Check Point CCSA Preferred
• Check Point CCSE Highly Preferred
