Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Checker/Team Lead (Detailing or Estimating) located in Salem. The role involves overseeing rebar detailing and estimation projects, ensuring accuracy and quality, and managing team performance. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying detailed rebar drawings, coordinating with client requirements, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and productivity. The position plays a critical role in maintaining and improving project quality standards while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in rebar detailing and estimation techniques, including the ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring technical teams.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in reviewing drawings, and verifying project specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in using relevant software tools for detailing and estimation, such as CAD-based or rebar-specific software systems.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability, with a focus on meeting project deadlines and achieving high quality standards.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the rebar or construction industry is highly desirable.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
