Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Check detailed fabrication drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Review GA (General Arrangement) drawings, assembly drawings, and shop drawings.
- Verify dimensions, connections, bolt details, weld details, and member marks.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes/standards.
- Cross-check drawings against approved design calculations and structural drawings.
- Review material lists, BOM (Bill of Materials), and NC files.
- Identify detailing errors and coordinate corrections with detailers.
- Ensure proper erection sequence and constructability of structures.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Project teams.
- Maintain quality standards and drawing release schedules.
- Support fabrication and site teams by resolving drawing-related queries.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PEB structures and steel detailing.
- Experience in checking fabrication and erection drawings.
- Familiarity with steel connections (bolted and welded).
- Knowledge of standards such as IS, AISC, MBMA, and OSHA requirements.
- Proficiency in detailing software such as:
- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD
- Advance Steel
- Ability to interpret structural and design drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience Range
- Checker: 8+ years in PEB/Structural Steel Detailing.
