Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with proven experience in a manufacturing plant environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial management, cost control, and compliance to ensure smooth financial operations of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Conduct cost analysis to support pricing decisions and improve cost efficiency.
- Oversee daily banking operations, payments, receipts, and transaction management.
- Monitor and control inventory accounting, including stock valuation and reconciliations.
- Handle export transactions, foreign remittances, and related compliance.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (production, purchase, sales) for accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, and inventory management.
- Experience in banking operations and export transactions.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, MIS preparation, and compliance.
- Excellent command over P&L, Balance Sheet preparation, and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/Tally/SAP and MS Excel.
Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant
