About Nirvaaha Consulting
Nirvaaha Consulting is a Chennai-headquartered firm working with startups, growth businesses and established enterprises across Deal Advisory, Valuations, Due Diligence, Value Creation Advisory and Fractional CFO services.
We are a young firm scaling quickly, and we work differently from most advisory practices: our engagements are long-form and embedded. We sit inside client organisations, and we stay to implement what we recommend.
About the role
Nirvaaha's Value Creation Advisory practice helps businesses strategise their finance functions and unlock enterprise value — through capital raising, IPO readiness, profitability improvement and finance transformation.
Our teams spend dedicated time inside client organisations, reviewing finance functions, operations and spend, and working alongside promoters and management to implement change on the ground.
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join this advisory.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with clients on long-term engagements, developing a deep understanding of their business model, operations and finance function
- Conduct diagnostic reviews of finance processes, internal controls, operations and spend to identify gaps and value leakage
- Build financial models, analyses and business cases supporting fundraising, capital structuring and IPO readiness
- Design and implement management reporting frameworks, KPIs and dashboards that support board and promoter decision-making
- Assess profitability drivers and develop actionable performance improvement plans
- Support the execution of debt and equity fundraising, including preparation of information memoranda and coordination with bankers, rating agencies, trustees and legal counsel
- Prepare client-ready deliverables and present findings to senior management and boards
- Work with client teams to implement recommendations, not merely to hand them over
Required qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with sound commercial judgement
- Solid understanding of business processes, internal controls and operational finance
- Working knowledge of Ind AS, the Companies Act and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Willingness to work on-site at client locations for extended periods, including travel
What we offer
- Direct exposure to promoters, CFOs and boards from the outset
- Breadth across industries, sectors and transaction types — deals, valuations, diligence and CFO advisory under one roof
- Long-form engagements that allow genuine depth rather than surface-level review
- The opportunity to see recommendations implemented and outcomes realised
- Direct working relationship with the founding partners, with no long chain of command
- Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives, and a clear progression path within the practice
