Job Description

Position - Chartered Accountant

Location - Navi Mumbai & Delhi

Duration of Engagement

01 year (Extendable to a maximum of 03 years)

Position Overview

The position is responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong fiscal governance. Acting as a key advisor to the Management and Key Leadership.

The role covers financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, audits, and risk management, while ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Finance & Leadership
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive financial planning, capital allocation, and growth strategy.
  • Lead financial due diligence, scenario planning, and investor presentations.
  • Manage unit economics and improve gross and contribution margins across business units.
  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A function.
  • Develop financial models to track efficiency, scalability, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) to influence business performance.
  1. Accounting & Reporting
  • Oversee statutory audits, tax filings, and applicable regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate MIS, P&L, and cash flow reporting.
  • Implement internal controls and automation for financial processes.
  1. Legal & Compliance
  • Manage commercial contracts and vendor/client documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws and coordinate with legal counsel.
  • Develop scalable compliance frameworks and risk mitigation policies.
  1. Business Analytics and Forecasting
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development and sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is mandatory; an MBA is an added advantage.
  • Up to 5 years of progressive finance experience.
  • Experience in the public sector or government-linked enterprises preferred
