Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Gurgaon. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. Responsibilities include statutory and tax audits, internal audits, tax planning and return filing, and supporting clients with regulatory and compliance requirements. The role involves reviewing and interpreting financial data, advising clients on accounting and tax implications, and recommending process improvements for better financial control. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate closely with clients and team members, prepare working papers and documentation, and stay updated on changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting standards, auditing principles, and direct/indirect taxation.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Experience in statutory, tax, and internal audits, including audit planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of tax laws, return filing, tax assessments, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Comfort with accounting and tax software, MS Excel, and general office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, documentation, and presentations.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments in a structured manner.
- Prior experience in a CA firm or professional services environment is an advantage.
