Job Description

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong experience in the Real Estate industry, capable of driving financial performance, managing investor relations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare long-term and short-term financial plans.
  • Lead financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and budgeting.

2. Financial Management & Controls

  • Oversee cash flow planning, fund management, and treasury operations.
  • Implement and monitor effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Optimize capital structure and working capital management.

3. Real Estate Finance & Project Costing

  • Manage project costing, feasibility studies, cash flow projections, and return analysis.
  • Monitor project-wise budgets, expenses, vendor payments, and revenue forecasts.
  • Experience in RERA compliance, project fund utilization, and escrow management.

4. Statutory Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, RERA, ROC, and all financial regulations.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reporting.
  • Manage risk assessment, internal control frameworks, and corporate governance.

5. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, dashboards, and variance analysis.
  • Present financial insights to the Board and provide decision-making support.
  • Lead financial modeling for new projects, land acquisitions, and JV/JD deals.

6. Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Handle banking, fund syndication, and financial institution relationships.
  • Manage debt structuring, refinancing, and equity requirements.
  • Build and maintain investor confidence through transparent communication.

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead the finance & accounts team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.
  • Mentor staff and drive productivity through technology and automation.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • CA qualification is mandatory (no exceptions).
  • Mandatory Real Estate industry experience (Residential/Commercial projects).
  • Strong understanding of RERA, taxation, project finance, and real estate accounting.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with mid-to-large real estate developers.
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor relationships, and financial negotiations.
  • Proven track record of improving financial processes and profitability.

Salary : 1,00,000-1,50,000 per month
