Role Overview

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting activities of the University. The role requires ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations while supporting financial operations and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Direct Tax and Indirect Tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax matters.

• Prepare and review GST returns, tax reconciliations, and statutory filings.

• Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Support financial reporting and audit processes.

• Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise stakeholders on compliance requirements.

• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and internal control processes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to taxation and statutory compliance.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
