Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive cost-efficiency across production cycles. This role demands a deep understanding of industrial accounting, taxation, and financial strategy.
Key Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and present financial statements in compliance with IGAAP.
- Monitor day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and inventory valuation.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Cost & Management Accounting
- Analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement standard costing and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting aligned with manufacturing KPIs.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial and operational risks.
- Strengthen internal control systems across departments.
- Ensure accurate asset capitalization and depreciation tracking.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Assist in CAPEX planning and ROI analysis for new projects.
- Evaluate financial feasibility of expansion or automation initiatives.
- Support decision-making with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) mandatory.
- CA with 10-15 years with core area of experience is day to day accounting, finalisation of Balance Sheet, handling auditors, GST & Taxation Compliances. (preferably in Manufacturing, Chemical, Ethanol FMCG, Automotive, or similar sectors).
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, Ind AS / IFRS, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
