Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Chartered Accountant based in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will oversee and execute statutory and internal audits, GST compliance, direct taxation, and account management. The role involves preparing financial statements, handling tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial advice to clients. The candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality professional services.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Internal Audit and Statutory Audit
- Proficiency in handling GST compliance and Direct Taxation
- Skills in Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, and account management
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance related to domestic and international financial practices
- Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field; Chartered Accountant certification is mandatory
- Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings
- Experience in a professional services firm or similar environment is advantageous
