About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Chartered Accountant to join a unique role that offers exposure across multiple areas of finance, taxation, compliance, and investment operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on diverse financial matters, has a strong attention to detail, and is looking to build a strong foundation across multiple finance functions early in their career.

The role provides hands-on exposure to financial planning, taxation, accounting, compliance, reporting, and investment-related activities, making it an excellent learning opportunity for individuals seeking broad-based experience and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in preparation and review of Income Tax returns and related tax filings.
• Coordinate tax assessments, notices, and regulatory submissions.
• Support GST compliance, reconciliations, and filing processes.
• Track regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance with applicable laws.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage bookkeeping, accounting entries, and financial record maintenance.
• Support preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and advisors.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

Audit & Reporting

• Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, and financial reporting requirements.
• Support documentation and information requests during audits.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting working papers.

Process & Governance

• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Ensure proper documentation and record management across financial activities.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - Recently Qualified.
• Articleship experience in Taxation, Statutory Audit, Direct Tax, GST, and Compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, and accounting principles.
• Exposure to statutory audits, tax audits, and compliance processes.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn across functions.
