Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Books closure, MIS reporting, IA & Stat Audit closure, and supporting strategic financial initiatives in a dynamic fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy of books of accounts and general ledger maintenance.
• Monitor cash flow, fund utilization, and financial controls.
Taxation & Compliance
• Engage with Internal audit and ensure timely filing of returns and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other consultants and regulatory authorities when required.
• Keep track of changes in financial and taxation regulations.
Audit & Internal Controls
• Coordinate and manage statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and compliance frameworks.
• Assist in risk assessment and implementation of corrective measures.
MIS & Financial Analysis
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Analyze business performance and profitability metrics.
Fintech & Investment Operations Support
• Support financial processes related to unlisted shares, private market transactions, and investment operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory guidelines applicable to fintech businesses.
• Assist in investor reporting and transaction reconciliation.
• Anlayse and update the data of companies listed on the website at regular intervals, identify the various corporate actions and engage with marketing team for content creation, Identifying the new product companies ang getting it placed on the website with financial content
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Hands-on experience in statutory audits and compliance management.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Eligibility Criteria
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
• 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts, Audit, or Compliance.
• Experience in Financial Services, Fintech, NBFC, Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Broking, or Capital Markets will be preferred.
• Prior exposure to investor reporting, compliance, and financial controls is an added advantage.
