Job Description: CA - Income Tax Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

• Litigation Support: Preparing and filing appeals, written submissions, and paper books before CIT(A), ITAT, and higher authorities.
• Assessment Proceedings: Independently handling assessments, search & seizure cases, and responding to notices under section 143(3), 147, etc..
• Representation: Appearing before Income Tax Authorities (AO, CIT(A)) for hearings and proceedings.
• Advisory & Research: Conducting detailed research on case laws, circulars, and notifications to prepare case strategies.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing, TDS, and complex corporate tax issues.
• Client Coordination: Liaising with clients and external legal counsels to manage tax litigation strategy.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Direct Tax Laws and judicial precedents.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and tax software. Corenza
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience in a reputed CA firm or legal firm specializing in taxation.
