Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Raipur. The Chartered Accountant will oversee financial accounting, reporting, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the lending and financial services domain. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and monitoring cash flow. The role involves handling tax planning and filings, conducting internal audits, and ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. The Chartered Accountant will also support budgeting, financial analysis, risk assessment, and provide insights to management for decision-making and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized body; additional certifications in finance or taxation are an advantage.
• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience in taxation, including tax planning, compliance, and filing of returns.
• Proficiency in audit and compliance activities, including internal controls, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting.
• Comfort with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ability to work with accounting and ERP software; strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of lending or financial services operations is preferred, particularly in consumer credit or payday loans.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Raipur.
• Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to confidentiality and data security.
