Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Raipur. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and overseeing tax planning and filings. The role involves conducting internal financial reviews, monitoring cash flow, and supporting audits by coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders. The Chartered Accountant will also provide financial analysis to support management decisions, assist in setting up financial controls for projects and technology implementations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in taxation and compliance, including direct and indirect tax laws, statutory filings, and familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with auditing and internal controls, including coordinating external audits, implementing control procedures, and conducting internal financial reviews.
- Comfort with accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel and financial analysis skills to support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities, with attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification; a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.
- Experience in IT services or consulting environments is an advantage, as is prior exposure to project-based accounting and cost analysis.
