SMS Group is a diversified business group with operations across Real Estate and Consulting & Corporate Advisory. We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team and support the financial and accounting requirements across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records and expense statements.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, MIS and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow monitoring.
• Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors when required.
• Review expenses, income and financial transactions across different business units.
• Support accounting requirements for both Real Estate and Consulting/Corporate Advisory operations.
• Assist in tracking client payments, service revenue, commissions and other business-related transactions.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving financial issues.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of financial information.

Mandatory Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
• Freshly qualified CA or maximum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Dubai/UAE experience is NOT mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of taxation and willingness to learn UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Good analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with different departments.
• Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred

• Articleship/internship experience in audit, taxation, accounting or finance.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero or similar.
• Exposure to multiple companies or business sectors.
• Basic knowledge of UAE accounting and taxation will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

I
