Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Real Estate

Location: Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad

Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Project Finance, or Structured Finance.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead and manage the Accounts & Finance function of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, managing taxation matters, handling audits, and driving financial reporting and control mechanisms. Candidates with prior experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance of ongoing projects and business operations.
  • Conduct financial modeling, profitability analysis, and feasibility studies for real estate projects.
  • Support management with strategic financial insights and recommendations.

2. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger management.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
  • Monitor cash flow, fund utilization, and timely processing of payments.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, GST records, vendor/customer accounts, and ledgers.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliances and assessments.
  • Handle notices, audits, assessments, and litigation matters related to Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.

4. Audit & Internal Controls:

  • Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, and tax audits.
  • Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors and resolve audit observations and queries effectively.
  • Implement best practices for financial governance and risk management.

5. Government & Regulatory Liaisoning:

  • Coordinate with government departments, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Handle compliance-related matters, assessments, notices, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders and authorities.

6. Team Leadership & Department Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of 4-5 finance and accounts professionals.
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the Accounts & Finance department.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Project Finance, or Structured Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation (GST).
  • Expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience in statutory compliance and audit management.
  • Strong liaisoning and coordination skills with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to independently manage the entire Accounts & Finance function.
  • Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, audits, and financial controls.
  • Proven experience in handling complex financial and regulatory matters.
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
