Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute statutory, internal and concurrent audits end‑to‑end.
- Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports in compliance with SA's and relevant regulations.
- Perform risk assessment, substantive testing, and evaluate internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor audit associates; review their work and provide on‑the‑job training.
- Liaise with clients, manage timelines and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to firm quality standards.
Qualifications & experience
- Chartered Accountant with - 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in a mid‑sized audit firm (statutory/internal audit exposure essential).
- Exposure to clients across multiple industries preferred.
Required skills
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards (SA/ISA), financial reporting (As and Ind AS) and relevant laws.
- Good command of MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Tally/SAP/other ERPs).
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and work in a team.
- Integrity, attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
