Role Description This is an on-site Chartered Accountant Articleship Trainee internship role based in Model Town. The trainee will assist with bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and support day-to-day accounting activities for startup and SME clients. Responsibilities include working on GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliances, helping in tax return preparation, and supporting internal audits and documentation. The role also involves assisting senior team members in financial planning, budgeting, and basic analysis, as well as maintaining accurate records and using accounting and reporting tools. The trainee will collaborate closely with the finance team, learn client communication in a professional setting, and gain exposure to Virtual CFO services and startup finance.
Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) and eligible for articleship as per ICAI guidelines.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, and compliance requirements.
• Comfort with MS Excel and accounting software; willingness to learn financial automation and reporting tools.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Interest in startup finance, Virtual CFO services, and exposure to growing businesses will be an added advantage.
