The firm now offers specialized services such as RERA compliance, co-operative societies and banks compliance, international/NRI taxation and certification, internal auditing, project financing, project planning and implementation, and subsidy consultation. Role Description This is an internship role for a Chartered Accountant Article Assistant, based on-site in the Pune District. The Article Assistant will support audit engagements, tax return preparation, and compliance work under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, working on direct and indirect tax computations, preparing working papers, and helping with documentation and filing for regulatory compliance (including RERA and co-operative entities). The role also involves data analysis, preparing reports and schedules, coordinating with clients for information, and contributing to project financing and subsidy-related assignments as required. The Article Assistant will gain practical exposure to various sectors and learn to apply accounting and taxation concepts in real client situations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and basic understanding of auditing standards; ability to prepare working papers and reconcile financial data.
  • Foundational skills in direct and indirect taxation, including income tax and GST, with an interest in learning specialized areas such as RERA and NRI taxation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; comfort with accounting software and willingness to learn new digital tools.
  • Effective research and analytical skills for interpreting financial information, tax provisions, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, documentation, and report preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work diligently on-site within deadlines and team processes.
  • Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (registered as an article under ICAI) or eligible to start articleship; relevant academic background in commerce or finance.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics, and willingness to learn across multiple industry sectors and service lines.
