Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Chartered Accountant Article Assistant, located in Ahmedabad and Pune. The Article Assistant will be responsible for assisting in internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance with tax laws and other regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, filing tax returns (Income Tax, GST, etc.), supporting management consultancy projects, and conducting research or analysis on various financial and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Accounting and Taxation, including Income Tax and GST
• Candidate must be having an attitude of taking ownership of work alloted.
• Knowledge of statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reporting
• Proficient in using accounting software and financial tools, with intermediate MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
• Currently pursuing or recently completed articleship under ICAI guidelines
• An understanding of regulatory compliance in areas such as ESIC, PF, and other statutory requirements is an added advantage
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to varied projects in a dynamic environment
