Role Description The Chartered Accountant will work on-site in Gurgaon in a full-time capacity, supporting US-based clients with end-to-end accounting and advisory services. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves reviewing compliance with relevant accounting standards, assisting with audits, and preparing reports and analyses for management and client stakeholders. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to client queries, support process improvements, and help implement controls to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial reporting. The position requires consistent coordination with international clients, adherence to timelines, and a strong focus on quality and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing.
- Experience in bookkeeping, general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements under applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP exposure is a plus).
- Knowledge of tax concepts, compliance procedures, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance and cross-border operations.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and productivity tools; comfort working with large data sets and detailed financial records.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and international clients.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
- Prior experience in working with US or international clients, outsourcing/shared services, or advisory firms is an advantage.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional codes of conduct.
