Role Description This Chartered Accountancy Articleship is an internship role based on-site in Pune City. The articleship trainee will support engagements in areas such as Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Accounting advisory, Audit support, Risk and Compliance reviews, and Process transformation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with financial statement analysis, working on internal control testing, preparing working papers and documentation, and helping with data compilation for analytics and reporting. The role involves collaborating with senior team members, participating in client meetings, and contributing to research on regulatory and accounting developments. The trainee will gain exposure to consulting assignments across multiple sectors and service lines under close mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) and eligible for articleship under the relevant institute guidelines.
• Strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation principles, with the ability to apply them in practical scenarios.
• Comfort with data analysis and MS Excel, AI Agents, and willingness to learn tools used for analytics, dashboarding, and automation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams and interact professionally with clients.
• Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving and process review.
• High level of integrity, professional discipline, and readiness to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Knowledge or interest in areas such as risk advisory, compliance management, internal controls (IFC/SOX/ITGC), and supply chain reviews is an added advantage.
• Availability to work on-site in Pune City and commit to the full articleship tenure as per regulatory requirements.
