Job Summary
The Charger Infrastructure Developer will be responsible for identifying and sourcing sites for EV charger installation, managing vendors and client relationships, and overseeing the successful execution of infrastructure projects across India. This role demands a proactive, execution-focused individual with experience in site development, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery in the EV infrastructure domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable locations for EV charger deployment based on technical and commercial feasibility.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with property owners, commercial establishments, and municipal authorities for site acquisition.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, utility providers, and installation partners for project execution.
- Engage with clients, customers, and location partners to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and successful deployment.
- Oversee and coordinate installation, commissioning, and initial operations of EV chargers at selected sites.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams for seamless rollout and post-installation support.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics; implement corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain documentation of site development activities, contracts, permits, and approvals.
- Drive continuous improvement in site development processes, vendor performance, and deployment efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in EV infrastructure, site development, project management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of EV charger systems, electrical infrastructure, and field deployment processes.
- Proven ability to identify and secure commercial/strategic locations for infrastructure deployment.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and external partners for technical project execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle project documentation, compliance requirements, and budget tracking.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, utility permissions, and municipal approvals in the EV domain.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India for site scouting, development, and supervision.
