Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Channel Sales Officer role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Channel Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing channel partners such as local transporters, fleet owners, and agents to drive business growth. Daily tasks include generating leads, conducting partner meetings, explaining WheelsEye's value proposition, and converting prospects into active partners. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless partner activation, monitoring partner performance, and supporting partners in meeting sales and service targets. The Channel Sales Officer will also handle partner queries, ensure a high standard of customer service, and regularly report on sales activities, market insights, and competitive trends.
Qualifications
- Strong Channel Sales and Sales Operations skills to build, manage, and grow a network of high-performing partners.
- Demonstrated ability in Lead Generation and prospecting to identify, qualify, and convert potential channel partners.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage stakeholders, address concerns, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, FMCG, or related field is preferred, especially in field sales or channel development.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within assigned territory in Andhra Pradesh, and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools (smartphone apps, CRM or spreadsheets) for tracking leads, partners, and sales performance.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage; relevant work experience will also be considered.
