Years of experience – 5+ Years (Relevant exp in solar is a must)

Qualification – Pref. BE + MBA

Job Role Sales Site Engineer – Solar Panel

Critical experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Solar PV Systems, Solar

Rooftop sales, Excellent sales skills, and Experience in managing a sales team. You

will be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding customer base, and

achieving sales targets in the rooftop solar segment (residential, commercial, and

industrial).

Critical skills / competencies required

- Functional

• Technical understanding of rooftop solar system design and sizing.

• Existing network in the solar or real estate sector.

• Experience working with DISCOMs and knowledge of government subsidy

schemes.

• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

Job Description :

• Develop and implement effective rooftop solar sales strategies in line with

company objectives.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial,

and industrial sectors.

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, site assessment

coordination, proposal development, customer negotiations, and deal closure.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and

repeat business.

• Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless execution of

installations.

• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.

• Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and competitor activity.

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of solar sales executives or channel partners as

needed.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
