About Ankpal

Ankpal is a fast-growing *ERP and business automation platform* that helps startups and SMEs manage *accounting, inventory, compliance, and business operations in one unified system*. We are expanding our *channel partner ecosystem* and looking for a driven Channel Sales Executive to build and scale our partner network in Mumbai.

Job Summary

We are looking for a *highly motivated Channel Sales Executive* responsible for *building, managing, and growing Ankpal's channel partner network* in Mumbai.

The role focuses on *driving revenue through channel partners, achieving partner sales targets, managing partner profitability (P&L), and generating leads through the partner ecosystem.*

The ideal candidate will work closely with *channel partners and their sales teams* to ensure consistent pipeline generation, deal closures, and sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Partner Acquisition

* Identify, recruit, and onboard *new channel partners, resellers, and consulting firms*.
* Expand Ankpal's *partner ecosystem in Mumbai and surrounding regions*.
* Evaluate partner potential based on *market reach, revenue potential, and industry connections*.

Channel Partner Management

* Manage relationships with *existing channel partners*.
* Act as the *primary point of contact* for partners.
* Support partners in *sales strategy, client engagement, and deal closures*.

Revenue & Target Management

* Own and drive *monthly and quarterly revenue targets through channel partners*.
* Ensure partners achieve their *sales targets and pipeline commitments*.
* Track partner *deal flow, lead conversion, and revenue performance*.

Partner P&L Management

* Monitor and manage *partner-level Profit & Loss (P&L)* on a monthly basis.
* Ensure partner profitability while maintaining Ankpal's revenue goals.
* Optimize partner performance by tracking *revenue, margins, and sales productivity*.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

* Generate leads through *channel partners, networking, events, and strategic alliances*.
* Work with partners to *build a strong sales pipeline*.
* Support partners in *client presentations, demos, and proposal submissions*.

Partner Team Enablement

* Train partner sales teams on *Ankpal ERP product, positioning, and sales strategy*.
* Conduct *sales enablement sessions and product workshops*.
* Help partners build *ERP-focused sales capabilities*.

Partner Marketing & Activities

* Plan and execute *partner-driven marketing activities* such as:

* Partner webinars
* Customer awareness programs
* Industry events
* Lead generation campaigns
* Collaborate with marketing teams to drive *channel-based demand generation*.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

* Maintain detailed reports on:

* Partner revenue
* Sales pipeline
* Lead conversion
* Monthly partner P&L
* Provide *regular performance updates and sales forecasts*.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

* *25 years experience* in Channel Sales / Partner Sales / B2B Software Sales.
* Experience in *ERP, SaaS, Fintech, Accounting Software, or Business Applications preferred*.

Skills

* Strong *channel partner acquisition and management skills*
* Experience managing *partner revenue targets*
* Understanding of *partner P&L and profitability management*
* Strong *lead generation and deal closure ability*
* Excellent *communication and relationship-building skills*
* Ability to *train and manage partner sales teams*

Education

* Bachelor's degree in *Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field*
* MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
