Job Description

Role Overview:

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for candidates who must have Channel Sales experience to drive the expansion of our Channel Partner Network across India.

This role is focused exclusively on identifying, onboarding, and activating new Channel Partners who will represent Chai Point's EW business vertical in their respective regions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen, local market understanding, and relationship management skills to build a scalable partner ecosystem for Chai Point's vending and beverage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Generate and manage leads through Chai Point's CRM and internal tools.
  • Identify potential Channel Partners through online research, cold calling, events, references, and existing databases.
  • Nurture leads from initial inquiry to final onboarding.

2. Partner Engagement & Evaluation

  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings to present Chai Point's Channel Partner Program.
  • Explain the investment structure, ROI model, margins, and operating process clearly to prospective partners.
  • Evaluate partner suitability based on financial, operational, and infrastructure capabilities.

3. Onboarding & Activation

  • Coordinate the end-to-end partner appointment process – documentation, agreement signing, and training.
  • Introduce partners to the Chai Point Partner Portal (C-kart) and internal systems for orders, wallet management, and service requests.
  • Work closely with the Program Management, RnM and SCM teams to ensure a seamless handover post-on-boarding.

4. Market & Channel Development

  • Execute partner acquisition targets for Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 cities as per quarterly goals.
  • Participate in relevant trade events, expos, and roadshows to attract high-quality partners.
  • Continuously track competitor partner programs and suggest improvements.

5. Reporting & Governance

  • Maintain detailed reports on leads, conversions, and active partners.
  • Ensure regular funnel updates and forecast accuracy.
  • Share on-ground feedback for refining the partner program and pricing models.

Requirements:

Education: MBA / PGDM preferred; Graduate with strong B2B experience can also apply.

Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Channel/ Distributor Sales / Franchise Development / Partner Onboarding.

Exposure to FMCG, Beverages, Food Tech, or D2C ecosystem preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain business models and ROI clearly to prospects.
  • Proven track record of meeting partner acquisition or sales targets.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, Excel reporting, and pipeline management.

Personal Traits:

  • Highly self-driven and disciplined.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
