About the Role
The
Channel Manager – Insurance is responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle of Life , General & Health Insurance offerings within the Wealth and Retail Banking vertical. This includes conceptualizing, designing, and delivering customer-centric insurance solutions in collaboration with internal teams such as Product, Operations, Sales, Policies, and Compliance. The role focuses on ensuring seamless execution, regulatory compliance, and a superior customer experience while driving innovation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product lifecycle for Insurance—from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Develop new product specifications based on customer feedback and market insights.
- Conduct customer segmentation and needs assessment to inform product design.
- Prepare business cases and secure internal approvals for product distribution.
- Track channel performance and coordinate with vendors/support teams to ensure delivery of agreed plans.
- Collaborate with pricing actuaries to obtain competitive pricing within benchmarks.
- Analyze unstructured data to derive insights for product mix optimization and sales initiatives.
- Design solutions for complex system workarounds and ensure readiness before product launches.
- Create quarterly themes in collaboration with marketing and distribution to energize sales and improve case size.
- Develop and manage product literature and marketing collateral in alignment with policy documents.
- Ensure adherence to audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Benchmark against competitors and gather market intelligence to maintain a competitive edge.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
- Suggest policy and process enhancements across Retail Banking to drive operational excellence.
- Leverage internal synergies by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
- Attract and retain top talent for key roles within the reporting structure.

What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)
- PostgraduateAny Postgraduate degree (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance product management, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Insurance products and distribution channels.
