Job Description – Channel & Industrial Support Engineer

Salary: 6 LPA

Role Overview

The Channel & Industrial Support Engineer will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to channel partners and customers. The role includes product demonstrations, customer visits, application support, lead generation, and supporting channel sales teams across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Support channel partners with technical and application knowledge

Conduct customer site visits, product demos, and installations

Handle technical queries and provide troubleshooting support

Generate leads through events, industrial visits, and marketing activities

Build strong relationships with electrical and industrial channels

Support new product initiatives and competitor comparisons

Coordinate with internal teams for customer support and compliance activities

Territory Coverage

Travel within the assigned region (typically overnight train journey from home city)

Qualification

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

Experience

2–4 years of experience in Testing, Maintenance, Technical Support, or Industrial Automation

Skills Required

Technical troubleshooting

Customer handling & communication

Product demonstration skills

Channel partner management

Industrial application knowledge
