We are looking for a dynamic and creative Channel Head – Lokmat Sakhi to lead our lifestyle video content strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will drive engaging, high-quality content while aligning with brand objectives and audience preferences, with a strong focus on growth and innovation across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive video content strategy aligned with brand goals and target audience.
- Identify emerging trends in the lifestyle and digital video space and translate them into innovative content ideas.
- Oversee the end-to-end video production lifecycle – from ideation, scripting, and shooting to editing and publishing.
- Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of engaging, high-quality content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, social media, editorial) and external partners (influencers, experts, production houses).
- Lead branded content initiatives – including ideation, client pitching, execution, and performance reporting.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance across platforms, deriving insights and optimizing content strategy accordingly.
- Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high performance and creative excellence.
Key Requirements
- 8–13 years of relevant experience in digital media / lifestyle content / video platforms.
- Proven experience as an Editorial Head (Lifestyle) or Video Head (Lifestyle YouTube Channel / Digital Platform).
- Strong experience in video content strategy, production, and distribution.
- Prior experience in team management and leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, audience behavior, and content analytics.
- Proficiency in Marathi language is essential.
