Job Description

Responsibilities

  • As an in-charge of CFT, shall be responsible for leading the turnout of the crew.
  • Assessment of the call, determining the line of action to be taken by the unit crew, and implementation of the same to achieve the turn-out objective shall be the key elements of the Role.
  • Command on R/T communication shall be an essential element of the role during emergencies.
  • Sincerity and alertness displayed in maintaining CFT stand-by.
  • When posted at SFS, he shall be responsible for turning out the required number of SFS appliances based on the nature of the call.
  • Supervise the Serviceability and Inventory check of CFT, record the observations in respective logbooks, and communicate the observations to the Duty Manager.
  • Follow up with concerned agencies for the closure of the snags identified during various checks and inspections.
  • Supervise the Training and lectures conducted in respective shifts.
  • Complete all designated training in the stipulated time.
  • Supervise the Operational Checks of Equipment/Appliances as per schedule.
  • Assist the Duty Manager in maintaining Operational Records and in the preparation of Daily Reports.
  • Maintain Mental and Physical Fitness.
  • Perform Specific Tasks as and when directed by Duty Manager.
  • Shall be conversant with all relevant SOPs, WI, and Contingency Plans of NMIA.

Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+2/Diploma with valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License.
  • Basic Firefighting certification from the Aviation Fire Training Centre will be Preferred..

Experience

8-10 years experience of working in Fire Service.
