Overview:

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CertifiedMedical Assistant for SMG Clinical Administration.

Position Status: Full Time, Days

Position Location: This is a hybrid remote position in Virginia Beach, VA.

Standard Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am -4:30pm

Overview

Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Certification/Licensure

• Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
  
  

Experience

• One year of clinical or administrative experience
• One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
