Role Description
We are seeking a Certified Massage Therapist to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our New Delhi center. The therapist will be responsible for providing a range of massage services, including therapeutic massage, body massage, and specialized techniques such as Shiatsu. Key responsibilities include assessing client needs, addressing stress reduction, and contributing to a serene and healing environment aligned with Lifeyoga's wellness philosophy. The therapist will also deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
1. Therapy & Service Delivery
- Perform a variety of massage therapies (e.g., Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Relaxation)
- Assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly
- Maintain consistency in service quality and technique
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitisation before and after each session
2. Client Experience & Engagement
- Build strong rapport with clients
- Understand client concerns and recommend suitable therapies
- Ensure a comfortable, safe, and relaxing environment
- Handle client queries and feedback professionally
3. Product & Service Promotion
- Recommend relevant therapies, packages, or wellness products
- Upsell services where appropriate without being pushy
- Educate clients about benefits of therapies
4. Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain therapy room cleanliness and setup standards
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Coordinate with the front desk for smooth operations
- Ensure proper usage of oils, products, and equipment
5. Compliance & Professional Conduct
- Follow company SOPs and therapy protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Adhere to grooming and professional standards

- Strong hands-on expertise in multiple massage techniques

Eligibility Criteria
- Certification in Massage Therapy / Wellness
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in a spa, wellness centre, or clinic preferred
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage, Body Massage, and Shiatsu techniques
- Experience in Stress Management and promoting relaxation for clients
- Strong Customer Service skills to ensure a welcoming and professional client experience
- Certification as a Massage Therapist, with knowledge of current massage therapies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of yoga and wellness practices is an advantage
- Flexibility to work schedules, including weekends or evenings as needed
