The PST-Cracker Toolkit (Mandatory Tools)

CERT-In's Practical Skill Test (PST) requires finding 90% of known vulnerabilities in a custom test-bed. Your lead must be proficient in:

Vulnerability Scanning & Management: * Nessus / OpenVAS: For deep infrastructure scans.

Burp Suite Professional: Non-negotiable for manual web/API exploitation.

Specialised Analysis:

MobSF / Drozer: For Mobile App (Android/iOS) VAPTcritical for your PM-Kisan and e-KYC rural projects.

Postman / SoapUI: For API security testing (crucial for Bank-to-Bank interfaces).

SQLMap: For deep SQL injection analysis (a key requirement for the CVE-2026-0501 threats you are tracking).

Source Code Audit (SAST/DAST):

SonarQube / Checkmarx: To meet the new Secure by Design mandate for government apps.
