Job Description

  • Manage US tax compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing tax returns and filings for state and partnerships.
  • Preparation of tax work files and schedules like 1120, 1020, 1045 mainly relevant to partnerships.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax-related matters for fund management operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide tax advisory and planning support.
  • Monitor changes in US tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Assist in tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of tax processes and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of tax-saving strategies and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cerberus US Tax professional should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, particularly in financial services and fund management.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
