Job Description

Manage US tax compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing tax returns and filings for state and partnerships.
Preparation of tax work files and schedules like 1120, 1020, 1045 mainly relevant to partnerships.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax-related matters for fund management operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide tax advisory and planning support.
Monitor changes in US tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Assist in tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities.
Maintain detailed documentation of tax processes and procedures.
Support the implementation of tax-saving strategies and initiatives.
Coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cerberus US Tax professional should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, particularly in financial services and fund management.
Proficiency in tax compliance software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
