Ceramic Materials R&D & Production Specialist

Clay Station, based in Bengaluru, is a pioneer in supporting all aspects of ceramic art. Since its establishment in 2009, the studio has evolved from offering pottery training to providing services such as studio setup consultancy, corporate workshops, research on clay and glazes, and sales of ceramic raw materials and equipment. Having introduced over 10,000 individuals to ceramics, Clay Station has also been instrumental in supporting the setup of over 200 ceramic studios in India and neighboring countries. The organization is highly regarded among renowned artists and institutions worldwide for its quality products, services, and support for ceramic artistry.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Ceramic Materials R&D & Production Specialist. The specialist will focus on research and development of ceramic materials, including clay and glazes, manage materials inventory and handling, and support production processes. Responsibilities also include contributing to material quality improvement, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of materials, and collaborating with team members to enhance product innovation and efficiency.

• Strong Analytical Skills for research and development of ceramic materials
• Experience in Material Handling and Inventory Control
• Proficiency in Materials Management and understanding of various ceramic materials
• Capable of working collaboratively and managing timelines effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Ceramic Engineering, or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in ceramic materials or research and development is a plus
