A leading provider in the private multi-speciality hospital sector delivering tertiary and critical-care services across core specialties including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics and critical care. We are recruiting an on-site senior executive to drive clinical excellence, operational performance and strategic growth for a multi-speciality hospital in East Delhi.
Primary Title (best-performing): Hospital Chief Executive Officer (MBBS, MBA)
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end operational oversight across clinical, nursing, finance, operations and allied services to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and measurable business outcomes.
- Own the hospital P&L: set targets, develop annual budgets, improve revenue cycle, implement cost controls and drive margin expansion and utilisation optimisation.
- Lead clinical governance and quality programsNABH/NABL accreditation readiness, patient-safety initiatives, clinical protocols and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with consulting physicians, nursing leadership, payers, regulators and community stakeholders to enhance referral, contracting and reputation.
- Define and execute growth strategies including service-line expansion, physician recruitment, strategic partnerships, and capacity planning to increase market share.
- Develop a high-performance leadership team, enforce governance and risk-management practices, and represent the hospital in regulatory, crisis and stakeholder forums.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS and MBA (Healthcare/Business Management)
- Proven senior leadership in a multi-speciality hospital with demonstrable P&L responsibility
- Deep knowledge of hospital accreditation and regulatory frameworks (NABH, NABL, MoHFW and state health regulations)
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost control and financial reporting
- Track record in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient-safety programs
- Experience in physician engagement, stakeholder management and large-team leadership
Preferred
- Experience with hospital expansion, joint ventures or M&A
- Exposure to multi-site operations and centralized service models
- Familiarity with EMR/healthcare IT implementations and digital health initiatives
