If you are someone who can lead teams, build strong customer relationships, manage operations seamlessly, and think like a business owner, this role could be a great fit for you.

What You'll Be Responsible For-

You will own the day-to-day business and operational performance of the centre, ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional learner experience.

The role requires strong commercial judgement, people leadership, customer management, and execution skills, with the ability to balance business performance with service excellence.

I. Business Management

  • Own the centre's business performance, P&L, and day-to-day operations.
  • Track key business metrics and identify performance gaps.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and drive timely corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of organisational SOPs, processes, and quality standards.

II. Commercial Performance

  • Drive admissions, learner retention, and renewals in partnership with the Academic Counsellor.
  • Optimise batch planning, slot utilisation, and teacher capacity to maximise active learner count.
  • Identify and develop local partnerships, referrals, and community initiatives to support centre growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, capacity utilisation, and customer lifetime value.

III. People Management

  • Manage and support the centre team to deliver high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Ensure teacher attendance, discipline, engagement, and operational adherence.
  • Monitor classroom performance and learner outcomes.
  • Coach and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable work culture.

IV. Learner & Customer Experience

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with learners and parents.
  • Ensure a consistently positive and engaging learner experience.
  • Proactively identify customer concerns and resolve escalations with empathy, sound judgement, and professionalism.
  • Drive retention and long-term customer relationships.

V. Centre Operations

  • Ensure the centre is safe, organised, well-maintained, and fully operational at all times.
  • Oversee facilities, utilities, consumables, vendors, and administrative requirements.
  • Ensure operational readiness for classes, events, learner interactions, and centre activities.

VI. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Academics, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Product teams to execute organisational initiatives and continuously improve centre performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Centre Management, Branch Management, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, or other customer-facing leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in team management, customer relationship management, sales, and operations.
  • Proven ability to manage customer escalations and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving sales, renewals, revenue, or business growth.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, productivity tools, MIS, reporting dashboards, and data.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
