Responsibilities

Job Summary:

  • The Route Planner is responsible for planning, optimizing, and maintaining weekly service routes for Safety-Kleen Box and Vacuum service operations across assigned branches. The role ensures that customer services are scheduled in alignment with branch service plans, operational constraints, and service commitments while maximizing driver productivity, route attainment, and on-time performance.
  • Route Planners collaborate closely with branch teams to review operational capacity, manage service orders, resolve scheduling exceptions, and maintain routing accuracy within the Fleet wise routing platform.

  • Identify service misalignments and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
  • Support branch performance by improving On-Time Arrival (OTA) and On-Time Performance (OTP).
  • Manual Order Creation
  • Support corporate account implementations and service transitions.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in routing, dispatching, logistics planning, or transportation operations.
  • Technical Skills
  • Route planning software (Fleet wise or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of US Geography and Topography
  • Power BI reporting
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Order management systems

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
