Together Foundation is a Mumbai-based not-for-profit organization and registered charitable trust dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and other intellectual disabilities. Established in 2015, the foundation operates multiple initiatives, including a sheltered workshop, FSSAI-certified bakery, data entry services, and manufacturing units, which provide job training and employment for people with disabilities. Additionally, Together Foundation has launched The Together Community, a residential program in Hosur for young adults with autism to learn independent living. Driven by values of commitment and transparency, the organization aims to promote safety, happiness, and independence for individuals with special needs.

Role Description

The Center Head will oversee daily operations at the Together Foundation's center in Andheri east, in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating programs for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, supervising staff, ensuring adherence to organizational values, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Additional duties include liaising with stakeholders, organizing resources, and enhancing the center's offerings to maximize the impact on the community.

Qualifications

  • Management and Leadership: Excellent organizational, team leadership, and decision-making skills to oversee daily operations and staff performance.
  • Special Needs Expertise: Knowledge or experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities, as well as familiarity with inclusive practices.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative abilities, including people management, scheduling, and maintaining records accurately.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication alongside the ability to engage effectively with staff, participants, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Resource Management: Ability to address challenges, allocate resources efficiently, and manage activities within defined budgets.
  • Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field, along with prior experience in nonprofit or community service projects.
