Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR LEGAL MANAGER / CUM Center Head

Location : Hyderabad and Bangalore

CTC : 10 to 12 LPA

State : AP and Telangana and Karnataka

The role involves managing the Karnataka operations which will initially start with a few lawyers and then be scaled up as business ramps up.

1.Qualifications and Experience:

a.Bachelor's degree in law

b.5 to 7 years of experience in giving title opinions to lenders banks/ non- banking finance companies, in Karnataka

c.Full, in-depth understanding of the laws of the Karnataka, relating to title search and legal opinions for properties including the documentation

d.Language proficiency: Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Kannada. Must have working knowledge of reading, writing and speaking English

e.Computer proficiency: Must have good level of computer proficiency typing, keyboard short cuts etc.

3.Responsibilities

a.Building and leading a team of consultant, junior lawyers for on-line title search and legal opinions on properties in Karnataka

b.Helping to set up the center and to run it efficiently as an administrative unit, including managing all the costs

c.Recruiting and training the lawyer team and supporting team of Operations Officers

d.Ensuring that all the reports are given in time to customers, including managing the fluctuations in demand during the month (more requirements come up during the month end)

e.Working would be from the office only, for which the team must be trained to manage the customer requirements sitting at the office

f.Ensure that all the systems and processes followed at the Centre are as per the laid down norms, including in particular all regulatory compliances of the Company and its customers

g.Maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics relating to data confidentiality

h.Tracking all reports/ MIS to ensure that customer needs are fully taken care of, and escalating issues in a timely manner as required, to the Head Office team (Technology/ Operations)

i.Getting involved in Pre-Sales work to Clients as required, including product demos

4.Other points:

a.Ability to work hard and handle pressure

b.Managing the team effectively, with the right balance of command and coaching

c.Handling client interface smoothly, including on complex issues

d.Right attitude with a problem-solving approach
