Role Overview
The Centre Head is responsible for managing the Institute as an independent profit centre, driving admissions, revenue, and operational excellence while ensuring high-quality education and student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and annual admission, revenue, and profit targets.
- Plan and execute local sales & marketing initiatives to drive enrolments.
- Handle walk-ins, counsel prospective students, and convert enquiries to admissions.
- Build corporate, institutional, and local tie-ups (colleges, schools, tuition centres).
Operations & Administration
- Oversee admissions, batch formation, timetables, and teaching schedules.
- Recruit, induct, and manage staff; ensure discipline and productivity.
- Manage cash flows, receivables, payables, and vendor interactions.
- Maintain records, databases, and compliance documentation.
Quality & Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and operational standards.
- Maintain institute hygiene, infrastructure, and learning environment.
- Monitor capacity utilization and optimize yield.
- Track market trends, competition, and provide business inputs.
Team Leadership
- Manage duty rosters, identify multi-skilled staff, and enable training.
- Control attrition (target 2% annually).
- Support corporate-led marketing and promotional initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support events, promotions, and campaigns as guided by Zonal/Corporate teams.
- Execute any other responsibilities assigned by Operations or Management.
