Key Responsibilities
● Patient Interaction:
- Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel or departments.
- Providing information to patients and visitors about hospital services, procedures, and policies.
- Assisting patients with registration, appointment scheduling, and payment processing.
● Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining and updating patient records, both physical and electronic.
- Handling billing, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- Managing correspondence, including mail and emails.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the front office and reception area.
● General Support:
- Monitoring and managing office supplies and equipment.
- Assisting with special projects or tasks as assigned by the administration.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of patient information and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- ● A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- ● Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a healthcare setting, is often beneficial.
- ● 2+ years in the field, with prior experience in a hospital or in hospitality.
- ● High-quality organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- ● Proven expertise in managing patient services and enhancing patient satisfaction.
- ● Ability to work in flexible hours.
- ● Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and prioritise duties.
- ● Capable of performing physical tasks required in patient care and movement.
- ● Looking for candidates from Bangalore who can communicate in English, Hindi and Kannada.
