Job Purpose:The job purpose of a Shift Engineer - Wet Tools is to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of wet chemical tools and equipment in industrial settings, ensuring quality production, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) Machine Management & Operation:
- Oversee and manage Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) machines for accurate and efficient process control, ensuring high-quality results and system reliability.
Breakdown Response And Troubleshooting
- Address and resolve Wet Tool machines breakdowns promptly, analyzing issues to prevent future occurrences.
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in production processes.
Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Implement CAPA plans promptly for major breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution and putting preventive measures in place to minimize downtime.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct inspections to maintain product quality and consistency in wet chemical processes.
Safety And Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in chemical handling.
Documentation And Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.
Team Leadership And Training
- Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive ongoing enhancements to operational procedures to achieve higher performance and reliability.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
- Desired Qualification : BE/BTech
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
- Min 2 - 5 years of experience in managing and optimizing wet chemistry tools and processes in solar manufacturing, including chemical handling, process optimization, and quality control.
