Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations for our Europe-based warehouses. This role will involve managing inventory reconciliation, repack operations, inbound/outbound logistics, and resolving issues related to purchase orders (POs), invoicing, stock reallocations, and customer disputes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP logistics modules, warehouse management systems (WMS), and strong project management skills. You will work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to optimize transportation, inventory management, and logistics processes across multiple European countries.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 logistics professionals across various European countries, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, effective transport management, and optimal warehouse performance.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for team performance and logistics efficiency, reviewing and improving targets regularly to meet business goals.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and efficiency across logistics operations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouse teams, and business leaders, to ensure alignment on logistics objectives, compliance, and seamless operations across European markets.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with trade, procurement, supply planning, and warehouse teams to improve communication, reduce ATP (Available-to-Promise) cuts, and optimize order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to review performance metrics, resolve bottlenecks, and align on supply chain goals, driving operational improvements.
  • Lead SAP implementation for logistics modules, managing the integration with WMS systems and supporting the setup of new SAP plants.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to define logistics requirements and customize SAP configurations, ensuring alignment with EU transport regulations and company logistics goals.
  • Design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP logistics modules, validating end-to-end processes such as inbound/outbound stock adjustments, repack operations, stock transfers, and invoicing.
  • Develop UAT test scripts and scenarios, monitor post-implementation SAP performance to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily performance reviews with the team, tracking KPIs such as stock reconciliation, CTP (Conformance to Plan), and blocked invoices, driving improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly dashboards using SAP, Ariba, and OTM data to monitor shipment status and inventory levels, enabling real-time decision-making for logistics operations across Europe.
  • Lead monthly stakeholder reviews, showcasing logistics achievements, proposing process enhancements, and driving improvements in stakeholder satisfaction.

Expected Experience & Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably in a global or multinational company.
  • In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound operations, including warehouse routines, inventory reconciliation, and repack operations.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of logistics professionals.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SAP and OTM (On-Time Delivery) is essential; familiarity with OTM data for shipment tracking and inventory management.
  • Experience with Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret data to drive business decisions and optimize logistics performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build collaborative relationships across diverse teams and regions.
