Job Description

• Configure and maintain CDP data models, audience/segment definitions, and identity resolution.
• Build and maintain CDP integrations with Databricks/Delta Lake (zero-copy access patterns).
• Design and maintain event streaming integration using AWS MSK (Kafka), including external publishing.
• Build, configure, and maintain destination connectors to Adobe Campaign Classic (email), Airship (push), and Infobip (SMS).
• Build and support journeys/orchestration logic, including governance and suppression across overlapping member experiences.
• Support integration work for experimentation/personalization layers (e.g., Optimizely, Bloomreach) consuming CDP-supplied segmentation.
• Build ingestion pipelines for engagement feedback loops (delivery/engagement events flowing back into Databricks).
• Scope and deliver platform enhancements as new use cases, channels, audiences, or business requirements emerge.
• Partner with product/marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into CDP configuration and logic.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues raised by business/marketing stakeholders (e.g., segment/audience errors, sync failures, journey/campaign delivery issues, data discrepancies).
• Perform root-cause analysis on production issues and implement fixes or workarounds.
• Monitor platform health (sync jobs, journey runs, data freshness, audience counts) and proactively flag/address problems.
• Maintain documentation for platform configuration, data flows, API contracts, and known issues/resolutions.
• Participate in vendor working sessions to define technical requirements and surface product gaps.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years working directly in/on a CDP or similar MarTech data platform (configuration, activation, and support)
• Hands-on experience with audience/segment building, identity resolution, and journey/orchestration tooling
• Strong Databricks and Delta Lake experience (Unity Catalog, data-sharing connectivity)
• AWS experience, particularly MSK/Kafka.
• REST API integration experience with marketing execution platforms (ESP, push, SMS providers)
• Adobe Campaign Classic experience - hands-on with workflows, campaign/journey setup, and API-based integration
• API-first, composable architecture / connector-based integration experience
• Experience implementing/maintaining a CDP Web SDK or similar client-side event tracking SDK (JavaScript) for behavioral/event data capture
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills; comfortable being a hands-on point of contact for business-reported issues

Support CDP (Customer Data Platform) as part of the Personalization Program covering platform configuration, audience/segmentation build, journey/orchestration support, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing production support. This is a broad CDP role, not limited to integration work, it includes building and maintaining segments, campaigns/journeys, governance and suppression logic, and troubleshooting issues across the platform end-to-end.
